A curated selection of my artistic works across different mediums, reflecting tradition, craftsmanship, and creative exploration.

Mandala art is more than a creative practice for me. It represents balance, patience, and inner strength. My journey began during a difficult phase of my childhood, when I underwent multiple brain surgeries and spent long periods in hospitals. In those uncertain and overwhelming moments, art became my quiet refuge. I started drawing simple patterns to pass the time, and what began as a distraction gradually transformed into a source of comfort and emotional healing. With every line, I felt calmer and more focused. Watching a design grow from a single point into a complete and balanced form helped me build resilience, patience, and confidence. My doctors also encouraged my parents to support this practice, recognizing its meditative and healing benefits.

All of my mandalas are created free hand using minimal tools, primarily pen, paper, and a basic circular guide. I do not rely on stencils or ready made templates, which makes each piece unique and deeply personal. My work reflects not only artistic discipline but also the personal growth that has shaped who I am today.

Through my art, I share a story of perseverance and transformation. Every mandala carries dedication, gratitude, and purpose. It is my way of turning challenges into something meaningful and beautiful, and I hope my work brings a sense of calm and inspiration to those who experience it.

I like working with different art mediums such as pencil drawing, acrylic painting, oil pastels, and dry pastels etc. Each medium allows me to try different styles, colours, and techniques, making every artwork a new learning experience. Pencil drawing helps me focus on details, shading, and expressions. It allows me to carefully observe shapes, light, and small features that bring life to my drawings.

I also enjoy painting with acrylic colours, where I can create bright and colourful artworks on canvas. Acrylic painting gives me the freedom to experiment with colours, textures, and backgrounds. Using oil pastels and dry pastels is another way I like to explore art. These mediums allow me to blend colours easily and create soft, vibrant effects in my work. Trying different materials helps me understand how each medium behaves and how it can be used creatively.

I like exploring different subjects in my artwork such as nature, portraits, and imaginative themes. Nature inspires me with its beauty and colours, while portraits help me practice expressions and human features. Sometimes I also create imaginative scenes where I can freely express my ideas and creativity.

Through regular practice, I continue to improve my skills and confidence in art. Each drawing or painting helps me learn something new and develop my techniques. Creating art is both relaxing and enjoyable for me, and it allows me to express my thoughts and emotions in a simple and creative way. My artworks reflect my curiosity, imagination, and love for art.

I enjoy working with clay and creating ceramic artworks. Clay is a very flexible material that can be shaped into many different forms using our hands and simple tools. I like turning small ideas into creative pieces by carefully shaping and moulding them. Sometimes I create simple objects, and sometimes I add details and textures to make each piece unique. Working with clay helps me understand shapes, balance, and structure in a way that is different from drawing or painting. It also teaches me patience and focus, because every step, from shaping to finishing, requires time and care.

The process can sometimes be challenging, especially because pieces may break during heating in the oven. Even with these challenges, I enjoy creating ceramic art and learning from every project. One of my happiest creations was a coffee mug I made for my dad. I enjoyed designing it, shaping it, and adding small details that made it personal and special. Seeing him use it and appreciate it made all the effort and care worthwhile.

I learned metal carving because I wanted to explore a new and challenging art form. At first, it was not easy to work on a hard metal surface, and carving precise designs felt difficult. With practice, I slowly developed better control, patience, and confidence. An experienced artisan guided me through every step of the process, showing me how to handle the tools carefully and how to plan my designs before starting. Their guidance helped me understand the complicated techniques involved and taught me the importance of focus, discipline, and attention to detail.

Through metal carving, I learned to carve lines carefully, create patterns, and add fine details that make each piece unique. Every step required patience, as even a small mistake could change the design. Over time, I began to enjoy transforming simple metal pieces into detailed and meaningful artworks. The artisan’s support made learning the craft easier and more enjoyable, and I also gained an appreciation for the skill and dedication involved in this traditional art.

I developed an interest in making jewellery even before my dad brought home a collection of semi-precious natural stones from Madagascar. I used to create pieces using beads and simple materials, designing bracelets, chains, earrings, and phone charms. When my dad brought the stones, I was inspired by their beautiful colours, shapes, and textures, which encouraged me to experiment further and create more unique and attractive designs. Jewellery-making allows me to explore my creativity in a detailed and personal way, as every piece can reflect an idea, style, or emotion.

Through practice, I am learning how to plan designs carefully, select the right materials, and assemble pieces with attention to detail. I enjoy combining colours, textures, and patterns to make each item special and wearable. The process requires patience, precision, and creativity, and I find it both challenging and rewarding. It is exciting to see how a simple idea, a raw stone, or even basic beads can be transformed into a beautiful piece of jewellery.
